The Rundown. [May. 24th, 2005|03:53 pm]
Friday went to a movie with Bryan and some other people. Went back to Jordans party and got blissfully drunk around the campfire. Fell out of Bryan's driver side door and loved it. Went home, acted sober. Passed out.

Saturday I went out to Tri-county to hang out with Ryan, Dusty, and Nick. Ryan and Nick have a new joke band, so I stopped by and hung out while they played. They also had some fun with a dildo and the nearby roadway. Long story short: tons of laughs. Went back to the mall to wait until Dusty got off work. Got free shit from him. Went back to his house in Fairfield. Kicked it. Somehow found my way home and went to bed.

Today there was a food fight at school. And tonight I'm going to a show in downtown Cincy. John is going to be picking me up in 15 minutes. It should be good times. The only thing that could make this week better would be if Lj were here. I really really really really miss him. And Lj if I don't get to talk to you before Thursday... HAPPY 7 MONTH ANNIVERSARY. Sorry the only way I can say it is over livejournal. I love you a lot.

"And all I wanna feel is just him dead
And have to eat the things he did and said
These are the ways I feed my hate
These are the lights that burn too late"

I ran across some old emails from someone I never wanted to think about again. I just wanted to say, be careful who you let into your life. You never know if they're going to turn out to be some psycho stalker.
So, to the only person I wish I could erase from memory forever...

Did you...
Did you ever think you would want like this?
Did you ever think you would feel like this?
Did you ever think you would love like this?
Now...
Did you ever think you would become like this?
Did you ever think you would hurt like this?
Did you ever think you would lose like this?
Did you ever think you would hate like this?
I...
I didn't know you would become like this.
I didn't know you would want like that.
I didn't know you would feel like this.
I didn't know you would love like that.
I'm glad...
I'm glad you lost like that.
I'm glad you hurt like this.
And I...
AND I HOPE YOU FUCKING HATE ME.

Because I still hate you so much.

I just got back from Portland. The world has that calm before the storm feeling to it. Oregon was lots of fun. As I Lay Dying was awesome. Front row the whole time. I got to sing into the mic and the lead singer even reached out and held my hand at the end of the show.
It's strange, when I was in Oregon I couldn't wait to be home. Now that I'm here . . . I wish I wasn't. I wish I didn't have to be anywhere. There's nothing for me. On the drive home I had the strangest feeling ever. I just stared blankly out the window at the landscape that I refuse to call home. I love this place so much simply because everything is familiar and I'm comfortable here. But I don't want to be comfortable in my surroundings anymore. When you're standing at the middle of a crowded airport looking at the faces that pass you by, you can't help but realize how big the world really is and how much there is out there. There are all these people that I see everyday who I will never know, who will never know me. It just seems like there is so much going on and I'm not a part of any of it. I want to be a part of something, I want to have a reason to get up everyday...but I lost all my reasons.

Oregon best watch it's motherfucking back!!! [Mar. 20th, 2005|08:29 pm]
[mood |lovedIn love with you!]
[music |Alkaline Trio - Armageddon]

Me and Emily are talking on the phone. We're leaving for Portland on Tuesday and we'll be gone for a week. Emily has decided that we are "pumped as poo" and will be "burping and farting on the plane." Oooooh shit kids this could be dangerous, Emily and I traveling BY OURSELVES!!! We plan to make quite the impression on plenty of strangers. As I Lay Dying is playing while we're out there too and if I don't get to go THE WORLD WILL DIE!!! We're going to make the most of this trip and have the time of our lives and spend an unnecessary amount of money. I'm really going to miss a certain boy from a certain town who I certainly love! And I know Emily feels the same way.

I have compiled a list of the top 10 things I have come to expect from this trip: 1)See As I Lay Dying! 2)Dance quasi-naked and fully intoxicated with my best friend and my cousin. 3)Miss my friends back home more than anything. 4)DO SOMETHING CRAZY! 5)Sing in the rain.
6)Sleep with Sahnzi and Emily with no pants on. 7)Look at the city lights from some high point (I'm sure they're gorgeous). 8)Wander around the city with no destination. 9)Wreak havoc on the plane. 10)???

So here's where you come in, what do you think #10 should be?

Breaking into hotel swimming pools and wreaking havoc on our world. [Mar. 19th, 2005|09:12 pm]
[mood |accomplishedaccomplished]
[music |Ataris-In This Diary]

This weekend I drove 5 hours to Cleveland for my Interscholastic Equestrian Association Zone 5 Finals. I placed 4th out of like 15 which means . . . I'M GOING TO NATIONALS IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND ON APRIL 24TH!!! Everyone come with me!

When my mother and I were driving home, I decided to put in some Ataris because I figured my mom could handle them. I was in a dreamy, half asleep half awake phase and and I heard the line "Breaking into hotel swimming pools and wreaking havoc on our world," I just couldn't stop thinking about this summer. I had a full flashback of when Jon, Jake, Zeke, Jasmine, Kellie, Mariah and myself broke into the swimming pool by the commons and swam in all our clothes. The place is monitored by someone who lives in a house attached to the pool and we could see his light on right above us. We all thought we heard cops so half of us scaled the wall and the other half slipped through a tiny crack in the fence. Of course, we could have all just gone swimming in my pool but for some reason we felt like being rebels. -shrug-

I also recalled when Allie Davis had a killer party at her apartment this summer. Amy got super trashed and decided to go for a walk with Jeff. I was also very drunk, but I remember thinking that I needed to protect her. Jessie and I ran around the neighborhood looking for her. When we found her, she was drenched from head to toe because she had decided to fall into someone's nearby swimming pool fully clothed and fully intoxicated. I love the visual image I get of her that night. I can't wait to see what this summer holds in store for us.

A tale of two princesses. [Mar. 15th, 2005|08:14 pm]
Once upon a time in a land far far away, there were two princesses named Emily and Vanessa. Emily was a beautiful and elegant girl with flowing blonde locks and a child's face of wonder. Vanessa was a kind of funny looking Asian who slightly resembled the village idiot. These two princesses jointly reigned over a mystical land called Oxford. Although they had many many friends and a steady stream of suitors was constantly coming to call upon the princesses, they were not content. In their land, the princess was expected to grow up, marry a knight in shining armour, produce an heir to the thrown and live happily ever after. These two princesses had other plans for themselves.
One fair day the girls were stitching their room, with the sun shining and the birds singing, and their minds started to wander. They couldn't handle the stuffy Oxford atmosphere any longer! The girls called for the two best horses in the royal stable to be saddled and ready for a ride. Soon the girls were riding towards the forest and did not bother to look back. Before too long they found themselves in a very unfamiliar part of the woods. It was starting to get dark, but they were not frightened. Suddenly they stumbled upon a clearing and their eyes met with those of two unfamiliar young squires. Weary and ready for a brawl, the girls took out their swords and prepared to defend themselves against any sexual hostility on the part of the young, hormonal squires. The boys were soon overcome with fear and cowered at the sight of the overpowering females on horseback. Sensing the weakness of their opponents, the girls quickly sheathed their weapons and hopped to the ground. Upon approaching the boys, the girls were delighted to find them very very attractive and unlike any males they would find in Oxford. Introductions were made and the girls each found them self falling deeply in love. The boys feelings were mutual.
After 5 love-filled hours, a pack of soldiers on horseback burst through the foliage and swept away the princesses. They claimed it too dangerous for the girls to be deep in the woods past dark in cahoots with strange squires. The girls were heartbroken. They were forbidden to ever go on rides into the alone again. They were certain that they would never see their lovely squires again.
One day however, while taking a walk around the garden walls, the girls overheard a sound much like a dying rabbit. Eager to help, they searched frantically for the poor animal and quickly turned corner after corner. Without warning, the two were accosted where they stood and bound and gagged by a band of land-pirate gypsy bandits with dishonorable intent!
The land-pirate gypsy bandits dragged the princesses deeper into the forest than they had ever been before. This part of the forest was void of light and cheer. They were held hostage in a shanty little house for three days. Just when they had given up hope, two dark and cloken figures burst through the door and demanded that the girls be set free. Of course, the land-pirate gypsy bandits simply laughed at the two characters. The cloken figures were ill prepared for a battle and instead proposed an alternative. One of the figures had noted that the land-pirate gypsy bandit leader had a certain fondness for the game of chess. He proposed they play for the girls. It was a close match, but the cloken figure escaped victorious and gained the admiration of the entire land-pirate gypsy bandits clan, who gladly turned over the princesses.
Upon returning to the castle, the two cloken figures and the two princesses were greeted by a large cheering crowd of relieved citizens. The king and Queen ran from the castle to meet the heroes who had rescued their princesses. Emily and Vanessa lifted the veils of the mystery men to find none other than the young squires they so dearly loved! The boys had won the admiration of the town and were knighted immediately. They soon asked for the girls hands in marriage, and the princesses gladly accepted. Not long after the wedding, the two young couples decided that castle life was too dull for them and they all retreated to the woods to live a more fitting life of freedom and alleviated responsibility with the chess playing land-pirate gypsy bandits. And they all lived happily ever after.

Alkaline Trio - You've Got So Far To Go [Jan. 30th, 2005|10:20 pm]
[mood |sadYeah Emmy...I miss them too.]

Well everyone seems to be posting their "You're so far away" thoughts. So I figured I would jump on the bandwagon and post the lyrics that always reminded me of our situation. Enjoy.

Soon ends our stay here and it's been fun.
So tonight I'll raise my glass to us
'Cause we've talked so much I think we filled this ashtray twice,
and I'm pretty sure we emptied every bottle in the place, so...

Let's walk home, let's be afraid.
I wanna grab you by the arms and kiss you so hard.
Let's do it right under the streetlight.
I want it now, somehow I forgot how.

Way to go, way to go
Forgot you've got so far to go.
Way to go, way to go
Forgot you've got so far to go.

I heard everybody's voice cut out when you spoke.
And I watched all the lights go dim when your eyes opened.
Well I can't believe you showed up, what do I do now?
It's last call, time to go.
But before we say goodnight...

Forgot you've got so far, you've got so far to go
Forgot you've got so far, you've got so far to go...

[music |Alkaline Trio - All on Black]

Well last weekend I went to Wilmington for a fancy horse show. Tori was there too. We didn't have the best of rides. I got two 5th places. Here's the weekend . . .

Hotel roooooooooooom.

My very favorite horse in the whole world was there. He means so much more to me than anything. I never get to see him anymore. Here are some pictures of Maestro that I took at the show.

Well it was Dale's birthday on Wednesday so Tori came over to bake cookies for him. Don't ask me how but we ended up spending two fucking hours on these damn cookies!!! When we're finally done we lay on my kitchen floor and Tori reads the ingredients one last time just to make sure they're vegan . . . they're not. "Oh whoops, there's milk in here." TORI YOU'RE LUCKY I LOVE YOU! We just laughed and I called Joshua and made him come over and bring me cake mix. And this time I made the cake and made sure it was completely 100% vegan. Don't worry Dale, I swear it was.

[mood |confusedconfused]

Can't you see that I wanna be there with open arms?
It's empty tonight
And I'm all alone
Get me through this one!

Do you notice I'm gone?
Where do you run to so far away?

I want you to know that I miss you, I miss you so
I want you to know that I miss you, I miss you so

I'm writing again, these letters to you
On much I know
But I'M NOT SLEEPING and you're not here
The thought stops my heart

Do you notice I'm gone?

Well it's official... my mom has cancer again. This time in her sternum. She's being really strong and she hasn't cried or said anything negative in front of me. I was so young the last time it happened, I don't really remember it. I just remember that mom was sick all the time and we had to get a lot of help from our friends' families. I got pulled out of the school I was going to because we couldn't afford mom's treatments and my school at the same time. We had to cut back on a lot of things. My mom made lots of friends at the clinic she went to for treatment...most of them didn't make it. I guess the thought of losing her never really crossed my mind back then. I didn't think something like that could ever really happen to our family. We got really lucky.
I was at Aaron's when I found out yesterday. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to hear. My mom was so calm when she told me. Everyone really helped me to deal with it. I really appreciate them.
We don't really know what's going on yet. We have to run more tests and find out exactly what surgery, if any, she will have to undergo. She told me that first off the doctors are going to run a tube from her sternum or something to the outside of her skin so they can run more tests and exams. It sounds so painful, I don't want to see my mom in pain. When we came back from Richmond I went to Emily's for a bit. It's like I know I should be home with my mom making the most of this time when she isn't sick and it hasn't fully set it yet that she will be, but it's so hard to look at her and to be in this house. I don't know what to say to her anymore. I know nothing I say can or will make her better. She's everything that hold our family together and I can't stand the thought of losing her. I know I'm gonna have to work a lot harder and times are going to be really tough here soon. I'm so thankful for my friends, having their support helps me pull through this.

If I could I would shrink myself. Sink through your skin to your blood cells. Remove whatever makes you hurt . . . but I am too weak to be your cure.
